In NAD-Nias, several donor organizations are working on similar microfinance projects. To pinpoint gaps, avoid overlapping of projects, create transparency and ensure the alignment of projects, effective donor coordination is important. To enhance the donor coordination, the donor community, which meets once a month in so-called Donor Coordination Meetings, decided to set up a website on microfinance in NAD-Nias. This website will serve as an internet platform/portal for the donor community working on microfinance in NAD-Nias. The main purpose of the platform is to present every donor organization with its projects and to facilitate communication and exchange of information between the donors.
